Please review our important update on recent U.S. customs law changes that may impact shipping times.
Due to recent changes in U.S. customs laws, all shipments entering the United States from outside the country — including those from Canada — may now be subject to import fees, duties, and taxes.
Previously, orders valued at $800 USD or less entered the U.S. duty-free under the de minimis exemption. However, effective August 29, 2025, this exemption has been suspended by U.S. executive order.
Here’s what this means for orders being shipped to the U.S.:
All packages, regardless of value, must clear customs and may incur duties, fees, or taxes.
Carriers (e.g., UPS) will collect any applicable duties upon delivery before the package is released.
Transit times may be slightly longer due to customs clearance.
Duty rates may vary and can change with evolving U.S. trade policy.
For more details, please refer to the White House Fact Sheet on the Suspension of the De Minimis Exemption.
